Support for planning an event or campaign

MLA East Midlands, NIACE and MLA West Midlands have worked in partnership to produce The Joint Venture, a new guide to planning an event or campaign. The guide provides background information and examples that will provide inspiration and advice to support other organisations developing their own events and campaigns.

The examples highlighted in the guide come from a variety of sources including Museums and Galleries Month, Adult Learners' Week and Cultural Diversity Day.  The advice and support covers top tips for accessing local media, hints on radio interviews, getting into the local newspaper, sponsorship and evaluating activities.
