Learning Links


Learning Links is one of the strands of the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Strategic Commissioning programme. It provides funding for museum/archive staff to undertake short reciprocal work placements with schools.

Learning Links has three specific aims:

 

  • To support the development of links between museums/archives and schools that have not worked together before,
  • To support continuing professional development (CPD) for teachers and staff in museums/archives,
  • To explore ways that museums/archives can support teaching and learning

Museums, archives and schools across the East Midlands have now applied for project funding through Learning Links 2008-09. For interest, documents relevant to this year's round of applications can be downloaded below:
