MINERVA Technical Guidelines
The Minerva technical guidelines for digital cultural content creation programmes are based on the NOF-Digi guidelines and include information on file formats, metadata etc.
e-Government
The Cabinet Office's UK GovTalk site lays out the technical standards for e-Government. See particularly the e-Government Interoperability Framework (e-GIF) which sets out policy and standards for interoperability across the public sector, including the use of XML for data exchange, and the e-Government metadata standard (e-GMS). The standards are mandatory for new systems in central and local government.
