Community Engagement Workshop

Building on a successful programme of community engagement workshops, CILIP’s Community Services Group are providing this interactive and participative training day. Each participant is requested to come with a specific community engagement issue or project for discussion in the afternoon session.

Participants will develop:

• a greater understanding of community engagement
• a greater awareness and understanding of successfully engaging with local communities, including identifying ‘barriers’ and relate this to their own community project/issue
• networks for sharing of good practice in community engagement

The event takes place on 20 November at Coventry Sports Centre, Fairfax
Street, Coventry CV1 5RY.

Cost: £55 including lunch and coffee/tea (CSG members £50).
