Taking Part cultural participation event and results

MLA East Midlands would like to invite you to a presentation of the Year 1 results from Taking Part, the first national household survey on cultural participation. The presentation will be made by Dr Javier Stanziola, head of research and evidence at MLA Council.

MLA has been conducting further analysis of the Taking Part survey, focusing on: 

• attendance
• motivations and barriers
• the role of the sector in meeting social agendas
• the new/proposed PSA target.  

In addition to exploring what the results tell us about our sector, the meeting will also be an opportunity to discuss the policy and marketing implications and the key messages that could be sent to policy makers and funders. 

The meeting will be held on Friday 21 September 2007 at MLA East Midlands, 56 King Street, Leicester.  The session will start at 11am (with tea and coffee from 10:45am) and will end at 12:30pm.
