Help us to put museum and archive education on the map by telling us about your contacts with Children’s Services (and win a book token!)
MLA East Midlands has commissioned museum consultant Hannah Gould to conduct some research into contacts between museums and archives and their Local Authority Children’s Services / Trusts. These were previously known as Local Education Authorities (LEAs). The project will pave the way for some of MLA East Midlands’ advocacy and communications work in 2007, which will seek to make closer links with staff in Children’s Services and raise awareness of the unique learning opportunities that our sector has to offer.
In order to conduct this work, we need your help! We need to establish a picture of current contacts between museums and archives and Children’s Services, and understand how MLA East Midlands could support in forging and maintaining these important partnerships in the future.
Even if you currently have no contacts at all with Children’s Services, please do return the survey, because mapping where there are currently no links is just as important to us as identifying existing contacts.
The survey document can be downloaded below. Please return the completed survey to Hannah Gould (hannah.gould1@btinternet.com) no later than 1 December.

Every person completing a survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £25 book token.
