Renaissance East Midlands Heritage Awards launch

Renaissance East Midlands has just launched awards for museums and heritage groups in the region’s six counties.  The awards will recognise excellence in the areas of exhibition, event, inspiration and the category of museum of the year.

The awards are open to all museums in each county and the winners will be announced at awards ceremonies in July following judging in June.

In each county a panel of judges will shortlist and make the final decisions including the museum of the year, which will be selected from all the entries and cannot be entered as a separate category.

Further information and entry forms for the awards categories are available on the Renaissance Heritage Awards page on the Renaissance East Midlands website.

The awards are based on heritage awards previously run in Leicestershire and Rutland and Northamptonshire.
