This conference focusing on oral history is being organised by the Museums' Association in association with the Oral History Society.
The conference offers an opportunity to explore imaginative and creative uses of oral history in museums and galleries. Speakers will address the technical aspects of using oral history in displays and will consider some of the ethical issues around working with living memories. Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss ideas for their own museums with experts and meet some of the leading suppliers of equipment.

- Annette Day, Senior Curator of Oral History and Contemporary Collecting, Museum of London
- Rebecca Roseff, Project Manager, Apples and Pears Past, the Cider Museum, Hereford
- Jon Wood, Research Co-ordinator, Henry Moore Foundation
- Beth Thomas, Keeper of Social and Cultural History, St Fagan’s National History Museum, Cardiff
- Alan Dein, oral historian and broadcaster
- Alyson Webb, Creative Director Europe, Antenna Audio
Members of the Oral History Society are eligible for the same reduced fee as members of the Museums Association, but will need to provide their membership number on the booking form.
