MLA and the national Make Your Mark campaign have joined forces to actively promote and instil the value of extended creative thinking and enterprising behaviours in museums, libraries and archives.
They will be creating a call to action document to be distributed to museums, libraries and archives in the first week of June. The document will outline the role enterprise can play in the sector and how services and users will benefit from getting involved. The document will inspire people to believe in themselves and their ideas, informing them of next steps and connecting them to resources and support - everything our services can offer to attract people aged 14 - 30.
A lot of the exciting activities already undertaken in museums, libraries and archives are part of encouraging enterprise. MLA and the Make Your Mark campaign want to capture these and use some in the call to action document.
If your activities and events could be used as an example of good practice, let MLA and Make Your Mark know by 30 April. You can do this by emailing danica@enterpriseinsight.co.uk or by calling the Make Your Mark campaign on 0207 497 4811.
