Love Libraries in search for top ten new librarians

The Love Libraries competition, run by MLA, is aiming to find ten innovative individuals who are transforming public libraries with their creativity, commitment and enthusiasm. The competition will reward people who have started a new career in public libraries (in the last three years) and are inspiring colleagues with their fresh ideas and talents. So if this sounds like you, or someone you know, we want to hear from you! The winners will receive a certificate at an awards ceremony in London, be individually profiled on the Love Libraries web site, and benefit from a training and development opportunity funded through the Framework for the Future programme.

The closing date for entries is Friday 28 September and the top ten will be announced in November 2007.
