MLA East Midlands is hosting this free one day event aimed at all museums, libraries and archives in the East Midlands.

The session is intended for heads of service, senior managers and learning leads. It will cover:

  • Pitching education services to schools
  • Targeting non- user schools
  • Deepening existing relationships with schools
  • Collecting and applying information about your local education market
  • Supporting the skills development of staff working with children & young people
  • Ensuring we work within the safeguarding agenda

And feature the launches of:

  • New online resource: National Database of Schools Participation
  • MLA Partnership Self Assessment Framework – Working with Children and Young People
  • MLA Partnership Safeguarding Guidelines
  • Regional Learning Network at MLA East Midlands
