Enriching the Regions - The Art Fund Regional Collecting Fund

The Art Fund is offering grants of £500 - £12,000 to museums in the East Midlands through the Enriching Regions initiative to help them add to their collections while developing sustainable donor relations.

Enriching regions aims to make the process of fundraising for a new acquisition as straightforward as possible. Museums are required to contribute funds raised locally - from a private donor, business supporter or through charitable donations - and the Art Fund contributes the remaining funding. The Art Fund will also consider applications for 100% grants under the scheme if they help to raise the profile of collections with local communities and can revitalise collections.

Applications can be received any time up to 30 November 2008 and one museum can apply more than once. The total grant fund available is £45,000.
