Cultural tourism workshop

The World Tourism Organisation has suggested that cultural tourism already accounts for 37% of world travel and predicts annual growth of 15%.

The opportunities to attract cultural tourists to museums, libraries and archives across the East Midlands are already there, and the Tourism Network and VisitBritain are joining together to support organisations in making the most of the new market growth. They are organising a cultural tourism workshop in London on Wednesday 13 June. Participation is £75 + VAT, including lunch, great speakers, very detailed delegate packs and action-oriented follow-up notes.

The idea of the event is to ensure everyone has a full understanding of the potential opportunity for cultural tourism, how to get involved and what VisitBritain can do to help. You’ll be able to network with colleagues and discuss which approaches are likely to work best for you.

Programme and booking information can be found at the VisitBritain website.
