Museums and Galleries Month

Looking at some of the world's natural history at New Walk Museum, Leicester

Museums and Galleries Month (MGM) is an annual celebration of the best in the UK's museums and galleries. Themed special events, including workshops, exhibitions, competitions and customised tours, take place in both large and small venues. 

MLA East Midlands and Renaissance East Midlands are working together to support East Midlands museums that wish to take part in Museums and Galleries Month, offering grants and producing supporting materials including banners and a publicity leaflet.  For more information about MGM plans and opportunities visit the Museums and Galleries Month page on the Renaissance East Midlands website.
