Books Connect 2

Books Connect 2 was a partnership between nine local authorities in the East Midlands, MLA East Midlands, MLA and the Arts Council England, East Midlands with the aims of:

  • opening up the use of libraries as community venues to wider audiences,

  • developing sustainable creative partnerships between museums, libraries, archives and arts organisations,

  • gathering evidence of how words and reading can draw communities together and help foster community cohesion.
