Other archive holding bodies

In April 2006 there were 88 bodies in the East Midlands listed as archive holding institutions by The National Archives in their ARCHON pages. Some of these are the local authority and university archives, but others may be libraries, museums and galleries, government agencies, educational organisations, religious institutions or private houses.

Of these, the following have been identified as providing an archives service:

Galleries of Justice,
Lincolnshire Film Archive,
Loughborough University Library,
Mining Record Office,
University of Leicester Library.
